UKRAINE STRIKES RUSSIAN RADAR, DRONE POSTS AND SUPPLY DEPOTS ACROSS OCCUPIED TERRITORY
Ukraine’s Defense Forces report carrying out a coordinated series of strikes against Russian surveillance, drone-control, ammunition and logistics facilities across the temporarily occupied regions of Ukraine.
In Manhush, Donetsk Oblast, Ukrainian forces struck a Russian 39N6 Kasta-2E2 radar station. The mobile radar is designed to detect and track aircraft, missiles and drones flying at low and extremely low altitudes before transmitting their coordinates to Russian air-defense command posts.
Russian UAV command posts were also struck near Kornosove and Novoaidar in occupied Luhansk Oblast.
Additional attacks targeted ammunition depots used by Russian units in Druzhne, Luhansk Oblast; Novoiehorivka, Kharkiv Oblast; and Kachkarske, Donetsk Oblast.
In Komysh-Zoria, occupied Zaporizhzhia Oblast, Ukrainian forces struck a Russian logistics depot supporting operations along the southern front.
Taken together, the attacks targeted several connected layers of Russia’s military system: the radar watching the sky, the command posts directing drones, the ammunition sustaining combat operations and the logistics network moving supplies toward the front.
The Ukrainian military reported successful strikes on each location. The full extent of the damage is still being assessed.
