Former Government workers this morning braved the cold to camp outside State House, in a bid to seek an audience with President Hakainde Hichilema over their benefits.
Some of the retirees have not been paid for over 20 years.
They are now seeking President Hakainde Hichilema’s intervention in view of his promises that they would be paid.
One of the retirees, Gibson Banda from Eastern Province, has complained that despite the commitment made by President Hichilema, nothing has been done so far.- Diamond TV
