Vice-Chancellor prof. Luke Mumba

The University of Zambia has reduced the number of years for the medicine program.

Vice-Chancellor prof. Luke Mumba has reduced the number of years for the medicine degree program from seven years to six years.

Prof. Mumba says the institution has also reduced the number of years for the nursing degree program from five years to four years.

He says the institution has done this without necessarily compromising on quality of education through the deployment of information and communication technologies in teaching and learning.
