UPND FAILS TO SPONSOR EAST BY-ELECTIONS.

The UPND has failed to sponsor the forthcoming Kaumbwe by elections slated for October 21,2021.
UPND Petauke Chairperson Benard Sakala has complained bitterly that the party leadership has neglected them.
Mr Sakala said it is a shame that the ruling party has failed to organise proper vihecles to be used for campaigns.
He said the party leadership in the district are using their own vehicles (NOAH CARS) which are now being damaged because they can not contain the terrain.
“Today we were heading to Kaumbwe unfortunatly the vihecle which we are using as district officials is not in good condition.
You have seen the wheel it has come out, we almost over turned,so we are asking for the provincial leadership to intervene,”he said.
Mr Sakala said”We have been complaining about transport and they are not coming to our aid.
“Today would have received the sad news, seven of us we would have died,” he said.
Mr Sakala said it would have been a sad development for seven families.
