UPND SPONSORING CONFUSION IN PF

It is very clear that the confusion that is being championed by suspended Matero Member of Parliament Hon Miles Sampa is sponsored by the UPND, charges former Mwansabombwe District Commissioner Jacob Chilufya.
Mr Chilufya has also warned Hon Sampa that if he is not careful, this could be the end of his political career.
Mr Chilufya recalled that this is not the first time Hon Sampa is bringing such confusion in the party saying he once did it with former Vice president Dr. Guy Scott.
He said if Hon Sampa was a wise politician, he would have leant political lessons instead of agreeing to be used in fueling confusion in the former ruling party.
“If you recall when former President Michael Sata died, it was the same Miles Sampa and Guy Scott that brought consufion in the party. After wards, he came back to his senses and apologized to President Edgar Lungu and that’s how he came back. This time around, we won’t accept his come back because he is a traitor,” said Mr Chilufya.
“And the UPND should not think the people of Zambia are dull to understand what is going on. This confusion is sponsored by them. We have serious issues in the country such as high prices of mealie, farmers do not have fertilizer, high electricity tariffs etc, these are the things the UPND should be working on not sponsoring confusion in the PF.”
He wondered why Hon Sampa was given state security to hold his illegal general conference when other political parties are denied permits by the same police.
“How many times has the police denied other political groupings permits to hold public gatherings? So Miles is so special that he was accorded that special state security to allow him hold the illegal general conference? We are watching what the UPND are doing and they will regret it,” he added.
“And for your own information, the delegates who are supposed to vote during the general conference none of them had attended that illegal meeting. Did you see any senior party member attending that meeting? Miles was given candidates by the UPND so that meeting cannot be a genuine general conference for the PF.”
He said the PF remains strong as all the structures are intact and waiting for 2026 to bounce back to power.
