UPND’s Liswaniso wants Linda Kasonde, human rights defenders arrested over Jay Banda’s case
Gilbert Liswaniso, UPND’s long-serving youth chairman has called for the arrest of lawyer Linda Kasonde and other human rights Advocates calling for maximum transparency and strict adherence to the rule of law even and human rights as the State presses to prosecute the former lawmaker whose live anti-regime Facebook broadcasts became very popular amo8ng ordinary and poor Zambians.
The human rights defenders also called for the State to explain under what law and international protocol Jay Jay was snatched from Mozambique and why he was admitted to hospital instead of detention facilities.
But Liswaniso has reacted angrily to the demands by human rights, instead accusing them of funding Jay Jay Banda’s activities to allegedly destabilize Zambia.
He has accused the Human Rights organisations of allegedly sponsoring Jay Banda’s anti-regime practices before he was snatched by Zambian state security operatives.
“The same chapter thing bamene abo, maybe they’re the same people who were giving money to Jay Jay… They should be arrested because these are people encouraging anarchy,” Liswaniso said.
“I want to tell the same Chapter Zambia to be arrested; you cannot tell about how Jay Jay Banda has been arrested… Let them go and ask the Police but that kind of question means these are the sponsors who wants to see this country should be in fire; disturb the development; disturb the peace of this country and disturb the unity of this country.”

I second Gilbert liswaniso , these unpatriotic Zambians are a let down. They don’t mean well for Zambia.
