TEACHER

PAY AND VERIFY YOUR RESULTS BEFORE APPLYING FOR RECRUITMENT

URGENT – PUBLIC NOTICE
VERIFICATION OF RESULTS FOR TEACHER RECRUITMENT

Lusaka, Monday, 4th April 2022. The Examinations Council of Zambia (ECZ) has observed that a number of clients are coming to our Service Centres to verify their results for the purpose of applying for employment, during the 30,000 teacher recruitment announced by the Government of the Republic of Zambia.

Some clients are also crossing the Provinces to verify results in other Provinces when we have opened Service Centres for them to do so within their Province respectively. We have further noted that some clients are presenting statements of results for years were we have issued certificates.

In a bid to ensure quality service provision in our Service Centres across the country and mitigate the spread of the pandemic, due to the high number of clients turning up for the verification service, we request that clients wait for the recruitment advert to be published by the relevant authorities which will provide guidance on the employment application process and requirements.

Further, clients are reminded to visit Service Centres in their respective Provinces and avoid travelling long distance to access ECZ services as we have opened our Service Centres in all the Provinces to avoid causing congestion in the Centres.

To this effect, verification at our Service Centres shall be offered to those applying for teacher registration with the Teaching Council of Zambia (TCZ) and individuals applying for various intakes in tertiary institutions or for employment other than the teacher recruitment. For this process, ECZ will only verify statement of results for 2020 and 2021 while individuals verifying results from 2019 and years before should submit copies of certificates and not statement of results.

Other services offered by ECZ including replacement of lost or damaged certificates, combination of Grade 9 results and accumulation of General Certificate of Education (GCE) results can still be accessed in our Service Centres.
