USA IS TO ELON MUSK , CHINA IS TO JACK MA & ZAMBIA IS TO?
I thought to buttress on my point in my earlier article on Mr James Ndambo . Came to read he was in the country for his family programme called ‘My Home Town’ and I trust to develop his home town Choma.
In a flash he has donated cars for the security of Choma residents via the Police and launching boreholes and donated Cow to various villages.
Herein is a classic example of how Zambia can get it’s over 15 million people out of poverty threats.
Make Zambians Millionaires or even Billionaires and in US Dollars or Euros for that matter. Hitherto it was perceived a crime for a black Zambian to be rich. The UNIP leadership code was bad and we have failed to wean ourselves out of the old Communism or Socialism that looks down at anyone that genuinely makes money and becomes wealthy. This so when the architect of such theories like China has long dumped that paradigm otherwise there would have never been Jack Ma who is the multi billionaire($) owner of the online trading company called Alibaba.
The beauty about Mr Ndambo’s wealth is that he did not make it in Zambia but in foreign land. We can safely predict that it’s all well earned money otherwise foreigners in Africa can never make any money that is illegal and we don’t get to hear any Sam candle. He has been making money quietly and legally away from Zambia last 20 years or so. He is quick to say he’s not a politician but a businessman. That’s his formula I guess.
May each district in all 10 Provinces of Zambia be allowed to have some equivalent of Mr James Ndambo. May each district of Zambia be allowed to produce a genuine businessman to make millions of money 💰 so they can also establish a personal return venture called ‘my home town’.
It’s possible to have one in Chipata, Solwezi, Ndola, Mansa, Lusaka, Kasama, Mongu, Kabwe and Chinsali.
For now all I can do is borrow the famous phrase in Mapanza,Mochipapa, Macha, Njase, Namwala road, Mawaya, Moomba farm, Batoka road, Nazilongo and other areas of Choma when they proudly say ‘Choma Mano’ (one needs brains to survive in Choma). One of ‘yowa’own had mano across borders and now sharing back to Choma district his hard earned wealth.
