We should not waste time on a failure like HH –
FORMER Minister of Commerce, Trade and Industry Bob Sichinga says Zambians should not waste time on a failure like President Hakainde Hichilema, stating that he should be the one to blame for the current situation in the country.
Mr. Sichinga was responding to President Hichilema’s remarks that Zambians are becoming lazy.
He compared the president to “a bad carpenter who always blames his tools.”
“It is wrong for the head of State to blame Zambians for being lazy to produce goods when he actually sold all the maize that was in strategic reserves,” Mr. Sichinga argued.

This maize in reserves, was it meant to last an eternity?
Bashi Nono, you expect people waste time listening to you?
Can someone please educate me on Mr. Robert Sichinga’s achievements in life for him to call president HH a failure. A few things I know about him is that he one of the people together with Mr. Miles Sampa who went to Europe to celebrate the acquisition of the euro bond debt without having any plan of how they would repay it back. Now someone who was part of the debt acquisition problem to call the people working hard to resolve their mess is unbelievable to say the least.
The he sold maize story cannot be saleable forever. maize was sold, other maize has been produced.
Can you imagine. As if the said maize was going to last forever. This story has now now become monotonous. The truth of the matter is that whether the maize was sold or not, the people the drought affected would have still needed food assistance because their crops failed due to the drought and so government would have still been required to give relief food support to these people. The only difference would have been the maize would have come from FRA reserve storage facilities but the maize is still not free because government bought it from the local farmers so I know don’t know what the cry is all about since governments has sourced the maize to help feed the people affected.
Old age is really a problem to some people, the old man has lived his time, leave HH to repair the damage left by his predecessor so that our children will find a better Zambia. HH has brought free education, he has increased CDF, he has done the debt restructuring, he has payed the retirees, he has employed more than 80,000 teachers, health workers, military personnel, etc, If all these things are failures to Mr. Sichinga, then we should not waste our time listening to him. What HH has done is not what a failure does.
