WE’VE CHANGED COACHES, LETS NOW CHANGE FAZ, SAYS GIDEON MWENYA

popular FAZ Presidential candidate calls for FAZ leadership change

FAZ Presidential candidate Gideon Mwenya says the continuous change of the Chipolopolo coaching bench will not yield positive results without leadership change at Football House.

Mwenya has appealed to FAZ Councillors to ring changes at Football House in 2025 if Zambia is to rekindle her lost place among Africa’s football powerhouses.

The Konkola Mine Police Chief observed that Chipolopolo had failed to perform to fans’ expectations because Football House was struggling with leadership challenges.

He attributed the failure by Zambia to make it to the AFCON three times in a row to lack of leadership which he said needed to be fixed at the next FAZ elective annual general meeting.

“Yes we have been doing everything we can in terms of hiring qualified coaches including Avram Grant; but can we also tell our brothers and sisters at FAZ that look they can also rest to pave way for others. We don’t hate them, all we are saying is that look let’s also try leadership change,” Mwenya said.
