Why am I in Court? Munir Zulu laments laments
During a press conference held at the National Assembly Media Centre, Lumezi lawmaker Hon. Zulu alleged that Honorable Situmbeko Musokotwane and Honorable Charles Milupi, both ministers in the Zambian government, had received corrupt payments of $250,000 US dollars each from a company known to Zulu.
In addition, Zulu also alleged to have made a defamatory statement against Mulchand Kuntawala, alleging that he had sent $150,000 US dollars to Honorable Charles Mulupi before his appointment as the Board Chairperson for Roads Development Agency (RDA).
He called on the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) to investigate the claims.
Instead, Zulu was arrested for criminal defamation and is being prosecuted for the matter.

Home Court
Does this give Mr. Munir Zulu the right to falsely accuse others? I don’t think so. The time Mr. Zulu made the allegations, he confidently said that he had the proof and was willing to lay the evidence before the court of law. What has changed?
I hope Mr. Musokotwane and Mr. Milupi will pursue this matter to its logical conclusion. We are tired of dishonourable individuals throwing dirt at innocent citizens and crying foul when they are called to account.
PF lawlessness must be put to eternal rest so our country can focus on the weighty matters of improving people’s livelihoods rather than attending to jokers like Mr. Zulu.
Now he is feeling the heat.
This fool wants to use Parliament as a tool for foolishness. What an immature fool
Kikiki with unfound silly stories. And the irony is the person standing next to him as he making the Press statement yet Muri is an independent MP. What is the Ambassador of lies have to do with an independent MP? Collusion in seditiousness.
Why worry since he claimed to have evidence? Has the evidence disappeared now? People should be held accountable for their actions not just fabricating stories to destroy other people’s hard earned reputation and then try to hide in some “immunity”. We want to know the truth about this matter so Mr. Zulu should backdown now.
