ZAM ANNOUNCES PACKED SCHEDULE FOR MANUFACTURERS MONTH 2026
The Zambia Association of Manufacturers (ZAM) says this year’s Manufacturers Month, September, will showcase Zambia’s incredible growth in the manufacturing sector
In a statement issued today, ZAM Chief Executive Officer Muntanga Lindunda said the month-long campaign will feature a diverse line-up of events designed to promote local industry.
Lindunda added that the series kicks off with a Charity Giveback at Twatasha Primary School in Kafue on 4th September.
She observed that a second charity event will take place at Nchanga North General Hospital in Chingola on 9th September.
Lindunda noted that the Mining Local Content Conference and Expo will be held in Kitwe on 11th September, with the expo being free to the public at Garden Court Car Park.
She advanced that an Energy Efficiency Conference supported by UNIDO EELA Project is scheduled for 15th September to address sustainable production practices.
Lindunda said that the free entry Proudly Zambian Expo will run from 17th to 18th September at East Park Piazza in Lusaka, with free entry for all attendees.
She affirmed that a members-only Fun Day will take place on 19th September, followed by the Manufacturers Gala Dinner and Awards at the Intercontinental Hotel in Lusaka.
Lindunda emphasised that tickets for the gala dinner are priced at K 1,500 and spaces are limited.
She stressed that ZAM has urged all manufacturers and the public to register for the various events without delay.
Lindunda also confirmed that registration inquiries can be directed to the provided email addresses and phone numbers.
She further thanked Phoenix FM Zambia for serving as the media partner for the month’s activities.
