Zambian female boxer Catherine Phiri is set to make a comeback after a two-year ban by the World Boxing Council (WBC) for using a prohibited substance during her last fight against Zimbabwean Kundakwashi Chiwedire.
Oriental Quarries boxing promoter Christopher Malunga announced Phiri’s return, stating that her final fight will be a ceremonial one. Despite the ceremonial nature of the bout, Phiri is determined to give it her all.
