Zamtel employee vanishes
AN employee of the public-owned telecommunications company ZAMTEL has gone missing.
Kelly Shemi, commonly known as Chipweti, has not been seen since Monday, February 6, 2023.
According to Shemi’s daughter, Gracious, he reported for work on Monday at ZAMTEL but later felt unwell.
“He went to Premium clinic near Intercity [bus Terminus]. From there, he headed to Lumumba bus station to board a bus going home but he didn’t reach and the phone is off,” explained Gracious.
“After searching his last location, it’s showing Lumumba station. He was wearing a grey trousers and a pink shirt.”
