“ZAWAPA LEADER CALLS FOR RELIEF  AMIDST ECONOMIC STRUGGLES AND POWER CRISIS

“ZAWAPA Leader Calls for Relief Amidst Economic Struggles and Power Crisis”
The Zambia Wake Up Party (ZAWAPA) has urged the government to address the pressing challenges faced by citizens.

Speaking on Roan Fm tell the people Radio Programme this morning, ZAWAPA leader Howard Kunda highlighted the nation’s economic difficulties, including the rising cost of doing business and the impact of power outages caused by the El Niño-induced drought.

He noted that these power outages have significantly reduced production across many sectors.

Mr. Kunda appealed to the government to show compassion by refraining from further increasing tariffs and demanding higher taxes, which he believes would place an undue burden on the already struggling population.
