SOME KCM MINERS NOT YET PAID K2, 500 – NUMAW

VEDANTA Resources is yet to meet the expectation of workers and some stakeholders at Konkola Copper Mines one year after taking over the Mines.

A Millennium Radio finding has disclosed that there is some growing discontentment in the Mining Community in Chingola and Chililabombwe as some Miners feel their expectations have not been met.

The Miners feel duped by the Investor’s decision to tax the k2500 across the board salary increment which was only paid in part despite the directive from President Hakainde Hichilema for the money to be paid in full.
