Anyone who leaves UPND Alliance now was only after a position – Milupi
UPND Alliance Council of Presidents Chairperson Charles Milupi says anyone who leaves the alliance now that President Hakainde Hichilema has completed his appointments will be showing that they joined only to seek positions.
President Hichilema recently completed the appointment of his 30 Cabinet ministers and 10 provincial ministers.
However, among the UPND Alliance Council of Presidents, only two members have been appointed: Charles Milupi as Minister of Transport and Logistics and MDC leader Felix Mutati, who has retained his position as Minister of Technology and Science.
Asked in an interview, Wednesday, what he would make of alliance members who decide to leave after not being appointed, Milupi said it would show that they were only after positions, reports News Diggers’ Naomi Phiri.
