BRENDA NYIRENDA VOWS ELECTIVE CONVENTION WILL GO AHEAD DESPITE COURT INJUNCTION

Acting Patriotic Front (PF) Secretary General Brenda Nyirenda, of the Given Lubinda-led faction, has declared that their elective convention will proceed as planned and will not be canceled by the courts.
Ms. Nyirenda urged PF presidential aspirants to continue their campaigns despite Mafinga MP Robert Chabinga’s injunction against the convention.
She made the remarks during a courtesy call by Mporokonso MP Brian Mundubile who is currently at the party Secretariat.
The Lundazi MP emphasized that the party remains committed to its schedule and will not allow court challenges to derail internal democratic processes.
When Courts become Political Players, trying to entrench a Dictatorship, they should be treated as such and , be ignored.
They become nothing but empty Robes.
There comes a time when people say that enough is enough.
Compromised Institutions are a danger to a Democracy, and to Peace in a Country.
This is how Nations fail.
If this government is left to it’s whims , Zambia is enroute to become a failed state.
My advice to the Patriotic Front is to soldier on, wear the Party Regalia, use the PF documents, and the Secretariat, and all offices through out the Country.
And come 29th November, 2025 , Hold the General Conference.
The 1.8 Million haven’t gone away…The number is even bigger today ,and marching to the General Conference, and to the Presidential and General Elections.
And you have over 600 Councilors, Mayors, and Council Chair persons spread through out the Country, in addition to 60 Members of Parliament. Only a sick person would want to obliterate such an organization, which is part of the governance system.

In Zambia he wont compete against himself.
There will be serious opponents on the Ballot, and come 13th August, 2026 , he goes with his Praise Zealots …an exorcism of the 2021 Curse.

PF is Dead!!
There has been a tendency by pf to criticize the very judicial processes they have previously relied upon. For example, there was an incident involving an injunction against a conference led by Acting President Guy Scott, which sought to elect Sampa. Notably, a judge was reportedly woken up late at night by KBF to sign the necessary papers for this injunction. While some may claim to have forgotten these events, it is important to recognize that the Zambian public remembers such actions.
Despite assertions of intentions to return to government leadership, there appears to be little behavior change. This continuity is being observed closely by Zambians, who remain vigilant about the actions and conduct of their political leaders.
PF is used to lawlessness, from the word go, pf has been walking on path of lawlessness. And now they want to extend their lawlessness to the Courts of law. Pf is on record being the first party in Zambia to elect its party president by using a show of hands and today the same people are urging Zambians to defend our democracy. What democracy is there in electing the president by a show of hands? And the election was held without the other aspirants, it was only one group without competitors Where was democracy that time? It’s like democracy has just come today. But in democracy we don’t use force or short cuts, we use the due processes and procedures as they are outlined in the law whether they are in our favor or not. The Court order is given and someone wants to ignore it and use force. How do you run the country with lawlessness and illegalities? Sadly enough, even Lawyers are busy supporting. Aikona mani, the rule of law has to be upheld otherwise there can be no democracy at all. And defying Courts Orders or Rulings will just breed anarchy in the country and the government should not allow it. The same pf wanted to use force by imposing Lungu on the people despite the unfavorable Court ruling on his eligibility case. So why does pf want to use force all the time? How difficult is it for them to abide by the law? Those who abide by the law are always at peace but those who are always in conflict with the law are never at peace, they are always in trouble.
@Citizen…. Very great comment indeed. PF has been lawless throughout. They are out of government and think they can still continue with that Lawlessness .
Do not play into Kakunkubiti’s trap, do not use emotions, use the court process even if you do not agree with it, going ahead with the convention will attract other court cases against you which may drag until after elections in 2026 and what would you have gained by that.
PF surprises me, why can’t they respect law ? Are they so used with imprisonment ? The 7 years of misrule made these people abnormal. They can’t do anything right ? I don’t see such people ever forming government again !

Even Dictatorships have Laws.
Apartheid South Africa had Laws..UDI Ian Smith had Laws too.
Northern Rhodesia also had Laws.
Laws are only respected in Democracies.
If Institutions of governance become compromised, Laws become Useless, and you create anarchy in the Society. You become a banana Republic.
Let those Mingalatoons abusing state Institutions realize that there is a limit to what people can accept.
This whole thing started in 2023. The courts have failed to make a determination. Even when parties reconcile, the Courts still can’t grant the Consent Order. If courts can’t resolve issues,where do people go to for Arbitration?
But we have Akakunkubiti, who people don’t even know how he found himself on the list at the Registrar of Societies…and his expelled Secretary General of the Party being given Court Orders, disregarding active Court cases.
Unhinged Imingalato are a recipe for Chaos.
Let the PF be allowed to manage its Affairs..and defeat it on the Ballot in 2026.

Confusion will follow PF till death and by the way CONFUSION HAS FOLLOWED it’s Leader (ECL) till death
