CHABINGA ACCUSES FOREIGN DIPLOMATS OF BACKING LUNGU’S “PLAN B”
MAFINGA Member of Parliament and leader of a Patriotic Front (PF) faction, Robert Chabinga has alleged that foreign diplomats accredited to Zambia are actively involved in supporting former president Edgar Lungu’s purported “Plan B” to destabilise the current government.
Speaking to journalists this morning, Chabinga claimed that ambassadors and high commissioners are holding secret meetings to promote Lungu’s return to political influence.
“We know the Plan B. They are even working with some diplomats accredited to Zambia,” Chabinga stated.
“Ambassadors and High Commissioners, stay away from this, Zambia is a sovereign state.”
Chabinga, accompanied by Morgan Ng’ona, his Secretary General, warned the diplomats against interfering in Zambia’s internal political affairs, accusing them of attempting to orchestrate regime change through non-democratic means.
He suggested that these diplomats are providing support to Lungu’s camp, aiming to undermine the government of President Hakainde Hichilema.
The lawmaker did not provide specific names of the diplomats or countries involved, nor did he offer concrete evidence to substantiate his claims.
The allegations come amidst ongoing political tensions within the PF, which fractured into multiple factions following Lungu’s departure from office.
However, yesterday two factions, the Miles Sampa and Edgar Lungu led camps reconciled and expelled Chabinga, while appointing Sampa as leader of Opposition in Parliament .
But Chabinga emphasised that he is the legitimate PF party president.

We actuary respect the rule of law but where someone who has been judged by the courts of law that he is not eligible for any elections now and in future but he choses otherwise including his followers say otherwise speaks volumes which means there is something that is unknown that they have on their minds but at the same time shows how a law abiding citizen and citizenry can behave. Either to ignore the rule of law and do your own thing or to abide by the court judgement – the rule of law. What makes people to look for something intently is the danger it poses but under whatsoever anything hidden in the dark will one day come to light. We are watching

If you recall Chabinga, the former PF general secretary late Mr Mumbi was sent to South Africa to be an observer when they were print election ballots and money changed hands and he bought Mercedes Benz. On arrival , when asked to brief PF on what went on in South Africa he told off Mr Sata and was given access to ZNBC, daily mail and sun newspapers by them late Ruphia Banda
Chabinga what happened, Basata won the elections and became the president of Zambia. Bamumbi missed the most important thing in his life that people would have still remembering him for self discipline, power angry, perseverance and respect.
Tomorrow Chabinga you will go back to your misery and suffering that Edgar Lungu removed you from by choosing you to stand as an MP on PF ticket. You are not PF member and the only people protecting you is HH directing Nelly Mitti, , minister of home affairs, registrar of society with corrupt hired judges from Zambezi region.
We will come and target corrupt judges, civic servants., parastatal officers and ECZ to ensure we clean the swamp and though wanting will be prosecuted and jailed
