CHARLY COOL RETURNS TO THE ZSL AFTER 40 YEARS

In 1986, a teenage Charles Musonda left Zambia for Europe, where he joined Belgian side Cercle Brugge.

He later moved to Belgian giants Anderlecht, where he became the first Zambian to play in a European club final when Anderlecht lost to Sampdoria ( check the comments for the Full story around that game)

Fast-forward 40 years: after serving as a youth coach at Anderlecht and later joining TP Mazembe, he has now been unveiled as NAPSA Stars Director of Football Development and Advisory.

Ironically, back in his playing days, his midfield partner was the late, talented Derby Makinka (who featured for Profound Warriors, the predecessors of NAPSA Stars), and the duo dominated many of Africa’s greatest footballing nations.

Now, his task will be to oversee the next generation of young Zambian talent as NAPSA Stars seek to dominate not just Zambian, but African football.
