SENIOR CHIEF PUTA COUNSELS ECL

SENIOR Chief Puta of the Bwile people of Chienge District in Luapula Province has called on former President Edgar Lungu to respect the people of Zambia that elected Republican President Hakainde Hichilema.

Commenting on utterances made at a church service by the former President, Senior Chief Puta says the people of Zambia respect Mr Lungu as a former Head of State and that he should live by that if he wants to continue being respected by the people.

In an interview with ZANIS in Mansa today, Senior Chief Puta noted that the behavior by the former Head of State is not only disrespecting to Republican President Hakainde Hichilema but also to the people that elected him.

The traditional leader added that former President Lungu is part of the suffering that the people of Zambia are going through as most of the challenges the country is going through are as a result of what he did when he was Head of State.

Senior Chief Puta observed that it is unacceptable for the former Head of State to engage in campaign activities when it is not campaign period.

He has since advised the former Head of State to rest and leave politics to the younger generation saying his time to stand again expired.

The Senior Chief also wondered why Churches should be turned into political grounds when they house people from different political affiliations.

  1. Well spoken our wise Majesty!
ECL is in panic mode because his court cases are catching up faster than he anticipated.
So he is desperately trying to stir up political strife but he has already failed!
UKA will have no candidate if their hope is going to be in ECL!

  2. E nfumu isha mano ishi, they use their brains to think and talk and not their bellies. Thank your RH for these wise words, the hope and future of Zambia lies in leaders like you who posses such wisdom. Lungu should respect the people of Zambia who elected HH and voted him out because of his misrule. This country belongs to Zambians and not to any individual or tribe, therefore Lungu cannot reimpose himself on us after we already rejected him. We are not fools, and by electing HH we were not experimenting in anyway, but chose the best president for our country and we are happy about our choice. Even HH failed to govern this country, Lungu or PF is not an alternative and should always have this in his mind. How many widows and orphans to we have right now because Lungu and his PF? And he wants to come back so that he can add some more? That can’t happen and will never happen. I just hope he has seen the wise words from HRH Chief Puta, let him learn to respect the people’s choice and that’s what true democracy is, it’s people who speak through the ballot and not by force. Even Jesus told them that by rejecting him, they were rejecting the one who sent him. And when Samuel complained to God that people had rejected him to continue as their leader, In reply God said that they have not rejected you but have rejected me. God bless Zambia, God bless our leaders.

  3. Luapula Province doesn’t have Poverty of the mind…It even has Chief Puta whose father is Tonga! A wonderful Province, very inclusive indeed…. With a Tonga Chief.
And on his high Majestic’s views , very interesting…ba kanabesa.
ECL respects the voters who voted for your “relative” , Hakainde Hichilema. That’s why he calls him President of the Republic of Zambia… Calling for early elections is allowed ba Chief Puta. Even your Tribesman, Hakainde, was doing the same…and for him he never even accepted ECL as President of Zambia…and never referred to him as President.

  4. Any Chief who supports HH from Luapula ati is a Tonga, last time it was Chief Chisunka, this time it’s Chief Puta. They can be Tonga, after all we all came from the same place, DRC. Haters are beginning to realize that it’s increasingly becoming difficult for them to paint HH black when he is not. Chiefs and citizenry at large are not agreeable to that. Those who want to continue hallucinating can continue doing so, it doesn’t cost anything.

    • I got the data from his face book post…may be it was hacked…it says Chief Puta is a Mudenda, and in the spirit of one Zambia, One Nation, he is a Chief in Luapula Province….And not just one post, many posts from 2011. You can refer to them to confirm.. Very proud to come from Luapula where we can even have chiefs who come from other places!

  5. This is a very well meaning and sensible leader who understands the dangers of under tones.

Blunt statements of inducing an election by any means can not be supported and condorned by any well meaning Zambian. Infact it is like poking a mother Bear. It will come after you in defence to protect it’s little ones, in this case Zambia. Don’t complain when it happens.
