CNN ADMITS TRUMP VOTERS MAY BE HIDING FROM POLLSTERS AS RED WAVE SIGNALS GROW
CNN is now openly questioning whether its own polls are missing the exact voters Donald Trump turns out in big numbers. Anchors are asking if surveys are under-sampling the non-engaged voters who refuse to answer pollster calls and who powered Trump victories before.
Frank Luntz told CNN that Trump voters walked away from exit polls in 2016 because they believed the process was stacked against them. He said Republicans are being told the polls are not accurate and that many simply will not participate. Luntz added that he is most interested in actual turnout, not the overall electorate that pollsters usually measure, and that people who sit with folded hands and look disengaged are often counted even though they never show up.
The packed rallies and early voting surges already show the real picture. These are the same voters who do not pick up when a pollster calls and who do not trust the numbers coming out of legacy media. Luntz himself noted that a lot of polls fail to ask the right questions about how interested people are, how often they follow election news, and how often they talk politics with friends and neighbors.
