Details have emerged of how Lusaka businessman, Valden Harry Findlay was abducted yesterday.
In the afternoon, he was at his private premises, remember where the Lusaka City Council and RDA demolished his flats when they were constructing the access link road, between Community House and Leopards Hill Road.
He intends to finally begin the works there.
About a group of over 15 unidentified men in small six cars stormed the premises and bundled him in one of the cars and sped away.
The men did not care that he was with his wife and children and did not mind that they were causing tremendous trauma for the family.
It was only later that they identified themselves as investigating Police officers from CID section.
They confiscated his mobile phones and drove him to his house to confiscate his laptop.
They took him to Force HQ where he was questioned for hours accusing him of funding Tonse Alliance leader and Mprokoso MP, Hon. Brian Mundubile. (Is this even a crime?)
This is despite his repeated answer that he has not seen or contacted Hon.Brian Mundubile since 2024.
Later in the night, he was dumped at Kabwata Police Station where the Officers have written in the Occurrence Book that the suspect was being investigated for Cyber crimes and Espionage.
The police have deployed a heavy presence of police officers at Kabwata Police Station and sealed the station.
