PF’s Chishimba Kambwili has warned that Zambians will suffer unimaginable consequences should they make a mistake of voting for those that abused the privatisation processs.

Speaking on Mkushi Radio this evening, Dr. Kambwili said high youth unemployment was worsened by the privatization of over 225 state-owned companies in the 1990s.

He said it would be a disaster to elect those who became rich by selling Zambian companies.

Dr. Kambwili praised President Edgar Lungu for saving Zambian mines from the jaws of privatisation.

He said President Lungu acted in the best interest of Zambians by taking back Mopani and Konkola Copper Mines into the hands of Zambians.

Dr. Kambwili said Zambia lost assets through privatisation of which all the dollars were being externalised resulting in the weakening of the Kwacha.

Dr. Kambwili said the bold action by President Lungu would now see an economic rebound because resources from Mopani and KCM would remain in the country.

Meanwhile, Dr. Kambwili said Tongas were not tribal but UPND has been championing it.

He said it was unacceptable that UPND gets more votes in PF strongholds but get zeros in UPND strongholds.

Dr. Kambwili said President Edgar Lungu had delivered development across the country despite getting zeros in Southern Province citing Mazabuka- Kafue Road.
