Sixth President of Zambia Edgar Lungu must resist the temptation to accept an invitation from counterpart incumbent President Hichilema because the invitation could be ´a trap,´ insiders close to the deal have revealed.
A team of business and evangelical clergy based in Ndola have been constituted to prepare for the possible ´HH-ECL´ reconciliation, State House is reported to have released money for the exercise already, but the motives remain questionable.
“According to the meetings held so far money has already been made available and president Lungu will soon receive an invitation from this committee,” a source close to the deal said, “if President Lungu refuses to attend the meeting, he looks bad and if he agrees to have a meeting it´s still dangerous for him.”
If he refuses, he will be seen as being an ´obstacle´ to reconciliation with President Hichilema for selfish political reasons.
The Ndola based insider cautioned that if Lungu feels compelled to attend the ´reconciliation´ façade, the best he can do is avoid touching any food or drinks provided by the hosts.
Recently Mr. Hichilema speaking at an event hosted by the Reformed Church of Zambia (RCZ) said he was willing to reconcile with his predecessor Mr. Lungu if the sixth President so wished.
But the insiders have strongly advised Mr. Lungu to stay away from any such meeting, especially in the absence of an agenda and pre conditions.
President Lungu could not be reached for comment but insiders state that the caution has already been availed to him regarding the possible ´entrapment´ by Copperbelt clergy and business.

Why calls for dialogue now??
Hakainde has been doing his Mingalatos aimed at anhilating the Patriotic Front and Edgar Lungu..In this quest he has destroyed the credibility of our Governance system, and the 3 arms of government. After seeing that his project has lamentably failed, and an exit beckons in 2026 he now starts calling for dialogue..The dialogue ECL needs is with the people of Zambia….He has the momentum and many Zambians are looking towards him for hope… but those money hungry papas want to deflate the momentum of the people..no ways.
Let Hakainde reconcile with himself first, before seeking reconciliation with others. He is a dishonest and hypocritical leader who today says something on camera, and does the exact opposite the following day. Where was he when Musamba’s police he controls were grinding down the gates of ECL’s house? It was Hakainde’s activities which called ECL from retirement…He should deal with the heat now.

Typical of PF reasoning. What danger is there for Mr. Lungu attending the reconciliation meeting? How do you attend such a meeting with preconditions?
Personally, I think it is a waste of resources. It is interesting to see that people like Hypocrite above smell blood with his mammoth rallies in Luapula. Well, Luapula is a PF stronghold, so nothing new here. It is like the UPND having a mammoth rally in Southern Province. I can’t understand why ba Hypocrite finds this exciting.

Who told u that for any meeting there must be food. It is not a workshop. KK and FTJ met in the Anglican Cathedral Church no food but for possible reconciliation meeting. When your mind is used to gassing it is always the case.
I can foretell the problem Lungu is thinking to be too big, and thinking HH won’t move on without meeting Lungu. Big mistake.
That house you call ECL’s gate was a house whose rent was being paid for by the government. The police are government workers. But the gate at community house is a private property and no one has any right to pull it down. Lungu used the PF police he recruited and stationed at that time at State House, urinated and messed up HH ‘s bed. Where were you when PF cadre police pulled down the gate at Community house, urinated and sh…..td on his bed. it was possible at that time for cadres to urinate in another human being’s mouth, urinate and mess up another person’s bed. Question is where were you? Where were you when HH had to miraculously escape from PF hooligans who had instructions to kill him at Moba hotel in Kitwe? Where were you when HH had to escape through the roof at a radio station in Ndola? Where were you when he was being hunted in the bush in Sesheke?
God spared him for a purpose. That is to better the lives of Zambians. We will not go back to our vomit.
