Hichilema’s Economic Growth Can Only be Seen by Economists!
This is their useless economic growth with no impact on the lives of people!! Their growth rate can only be seen or imagined by economists!
Under Project 2026 and Beyond, Zambia will become a middle income country with a target to be one of the top five economies in Africa after South Africa, Egypt, Algeria and Nigeria.
Poverty levels will be reduced from 64.3% to under 20% in a period of five years.
Further the divide between rural and urban poverty will be significantly reduced as rural centres will become places of heightened economic and industrial activities such as agro-processing and commercial fish farming.
Project 2026 and Beyond, a plan, NOT for elections, but for generations.
So are the economists the only one’s that will vote, or are we supposed to ask for the economist’s guidance before voting. The issue here is this, government works for the masses, and it is them that judge how government has performed, under Levy Patrick Mwanawasa who was not like when he ascended to the position, the masses needed no economist to tell them that Levy was working, they saw for themselves and now held him in high esteem because the works were very visible. Mr. Mwamba’s promises sound like “more money in your pockets”. We have been there before. We will end poverty; rural areas will become industrial hubs; no one will go hungry; blah, blah. These are meaningless statements if you don’t tell us HOW you are going to achieve them.
In other words, Mr. Mwamba and his compatriots in Tonse Alliance have absolutely no clue on how to get us out of the economic trench Mr. Lungu and his PF dug us into.
All they are doing is salivating at a second opportunity to plunder national resources. According to their Project 2026 and beyond they will take no prisoners and will make sure they rule in perpetuity. These people are incorrigible and actually believe that they did very well during their reign. They will destroy Zambia inorder to save it.
