LUNGU NEEDS TO RECONCILE WITH HIMSELF – MWEETWA
CHIEF Government Spokesperson Cornelius Mweetwa says former president Edgar Lungu should use the National Day of Prayer to reconcile with himself.
And Mweetwa says Lungu has been given a red carpet treatment, arguing that President Hakainde Hichilema has not dragged him to court like other former heads of state were.
On Sunday, Catholic Priest Right Reverend Bishop Patrick Chisanga urged the church to find initiatives to reconcile President Hichilema and Lungu. Commenting on this in an interview, Monday, Mweetwa said reconciliation first starts at personal level. “So, presently, former president Lungu should use this day of reconciliation first to reconcile with himself.
The issue of reconciliation ahead of October 18 is a very important issue.
