ELECTIONS WERE NOT CREDIBLE, ECZ SALARIES A WASTAGE – Saboi

Yawn. Let them bray. If they are not interested in healing and working for the country, that’s on them.
So much to be done. But congratulations HH and UPND. You get to continue to good progress you made (just the debt restructuring and freeing up of fiscal space is incredibly impressive). Do not tolerate undermining and obstruction from these PF aligned fools.

In Democracy Madame, we don’t get a 100% satisfaction, we only get a two third majority satisfaction. That’s how Democracy works and no one can change it. And there is no election that will be conducted to the satisfaction of everyone, it’s impossible to achieve that, in short, it’s unachievable. We are more than 20 million in Zambia and it’s virtually impossible to satisfy everyone.
The other point is that in Democracy, there should no one who puts himself or herself as a criteria for a free and fair election. As long as Saboi or someone is not satisfied, then the election was a sham, No, No, things don’t work that way. And vise versa, where Saboi or someone is satisfied, then the elections were free and fair. How do you do that even before the Observer Missions give their preliminary reports? In Democracy we don’t use individual opinions or reports, we use the majority opinions, that is, as long as the two third or the majority are satisfied, then Democracy is satisfied and we should move on. It’s unfortunate if the outcome of the elections were not up to your expectation, but other people are happy and satisfied. ECZ must be commended for the job well done, I don’t think they had time for any manipulation, they were simply receiving results from Constituencies, verify them and announce to the nation. In the past, we had heard of even worse stories where ballot boxes and ballot papers were found dumped in the bush, in waste bins and some were reported buried in several cemeteries. Were those elections credible to you? You are just irritating the people. In every election, there are winners and losers and that’s the whole essence of having an election, you give chance to the people to choose the candidate they want from among the many. So the losers should accept defeat and congratulate the winners, that’s how Democracy works. The losers are free to try again in 2031, maybe that time they will make it. A big congratulation to the President elect, we look forward to another five years of good governance and prosperity.
