ETHIOPIAN PRIME MINISTER PUTS CABINET OFFICIALS THROUGH MILITARY TRAINING
Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed has joined cabinet ministers and senior government officials in military training at the Hurso military training centre, saying military discipline can help develop stronger leaders and advance national development.
According to the Ethiopia News Agency, participants include Speaker of the House of Federation Muferiat Kamil, Finance Minister Fitsum Assefa and Health Minister Mekdes Daba.
Abiy says the training is intended to instil discipline, patriotism, teamwork and accountability among government leaders.
