FORMER CHONGWE MAYOR CHUMBWE SAYS HE WILL STAND FOR PARLIAMENTARY ELECTION THIS YEAR
Geoffrey Chumbwe has announced that he will stand as MP for Chongwe during the 2026 general elections.
He is former Chongwe Mayor, and former Patriotic Front (PF) Lusaka Provincial Chairman. He resigned from the PF in August 2021.
He was previously a member of the National Executive Committee in the MMD before joining the PF.
It’s not clear which party he seeks to ride on this time
