FREEDOM IS COMING FOR ALL ZAMBIANS, PROMISES MAKEBI ZULU
Renowned Lusaka Lawyer, Makebi Zulu has formally expressed interest in contesting the Patriotic Front presidency by filing in his credentials and oaying the fee if K200,000.00
Zulu arrived at the Patriotic Front Party Secretariat located on corner of Panganani and Lumumba roads accomoanied by hundreds of supporters.
He later addressed the crowd after filing in his expression of interest with Acting Secretary General, Brenda Nyirenda MP.
“Freedom of speech should not require a passport every Zambian must be able to speak freely within their own country”
“Why should our minerals end up in foreign hands when Zambians can benefit from them?”
“We cannot continue prioritizing foreigners for power when our own people and businesses are struggling to survive”
“Zambia is for all and I see equal opportunities for all Zambians not for one tribe, not for a privileged few, but for every citizen” said Makebi Zulu

PF took away our freedoms. The only freedom you can restore is PF’s freedom to loot, engage in lawlessness, corruption, hypocrisy and lies.
PF has not reformed one bit and, if elected, will simply pick up from where they left off and give us a double dose of what we experienced during their reign.
Freedom to plunder national treasury with impunity.
In the words of someone’s sister.
Mubepelefye.
The law is the law. No special cases. All those incarcerated PF one time untouchables had their day in court. And were convicted. Even if you kicked HH out, no one is coming to reverse those convictions. Lazo ni lazo.
Welcome back. I hope you got the keys to the loot. We want that money. Unless otherwise, which will come out soon, you are too raw to contest. You will tell us where the will come from.
Ati freedom is coming, the same people who messed up with our freedom are now claiming that it’s coming. I don’t think we are need of any freedom now because it already four years ago, Bally rescued us. This time we need economic development and not freedom, what freedom again? Criminals have to face the law as there is no one above the law. Few weeks ago, I listened to Botswana President where he was warning the looters of government coffers and this is what he said; if you are one of those who stole government money, you should begin running now. If these are the people Makebi Zulu wants to come and give freedom, then I am sorry, Zambians who the owners of the money which was stolen will not vote for him. Zambians want a leader who will fight corruption, tribalism and bring unity among all citizens. We don’t want a repeat of ubomba mwibala again, those are slogans and policies which destroyed our country.
Freedom is very remotely related to someone holding a dead president’s body. What freedom are you talking about?
The 3 points raised by Zulu are debatable:
1) Freedom of Speech – this is relative as we already have this, to some extent. Remember absolute Freedom of Speech is Anarchy and Chaos. That is why even him, he is freely speaking now
2) National Resources going to Foreigners – Who stops us from competing with Foreigners. They have the Capital, tenacity and brain. We like complaining. Previous Governments including KK’s tried to empower Citizens but horribly failed. The economy nose dived.
3) Zambia is equally for all of us and not one Tribe – uuh…, I sense a tinge of tribalism and xenophobia in that statement. Anyway not surprising, History and Statistics are there about the practice of tribalism in Zambia since 1964.
