Sikazwe laughs off possible loss

FREEDOM Sikazwe has laughed off reports that a defeat and loss of Mpulungu Constituency parliamentary seat awaits him on August 12.

The former Presidential Affairs minister has been a member of parliarment for Mpulungu Constituency in Northern Province since 2011 and is re-contesting on the ruling Patriotic Front ticket.

According to reports, Sikazwe’s popularity in Mpulungu has hit borehole level and is now depending on violence to to have an edge over his arch oppenent, Leonard Mbao of the UPND.

But Sikazwe has denied ochastraing any violence in the Constituency and branded reports indicating loss of popularity as social media propaganda.

Sikazwe has been quoted by Radio Phoenix saying, come August 12 – he will retain the Mpulungu seat with a landslide victory.

Sikazwe says people will be shocked because as far as he is concerned, remains the most popular and preferred candidate by the electorate in the constituency.
