GBM SENTENCED TO FIVE YEARS IMPRISONMENT WITH HARD LABOR

GBM GETS 5 YEARS FOR MONEY LAUNDERING AND OTHER OFFENSES

The Lusaka Magistrate Court has sentenced former Defence Minister Geoffrey Mwamba to five years with hard labour over crimes related to conflict of interest, money laundering and possession of property suspected to be proceeds of crime among other crimes.

This was after Magistrate Sanford Ngobola found him guilty in multiple counts.

Magistrated Ngobola said he was satisfied that the prosecution had proved their case against the accused.

GBM said it all that if HH goes into office of presidency, akatukaka bonse pantu uyu muntu takwata amasangalatoni. He is a serious man he shall arrest us all and put us behind bars.

The truth of the matter is GBM is barred, and this is not political imprisonment, but he committed a crime and he is levelled by the court as a criminal.
