GIVEN KATUTA SEEKS PUBLIC APPROVAL TO ATTEND PARLIAMENT OPENING
Former Chienge MP and 2026 independent presidential candidate Rev. Dr. Given Katuta Mwelwa has asked members of the public to approve or reject her decision to attend the official opening of the First Session of the Fourteenth National Assembly.
Katuta says she has received an invitation from Speaker of the National Assembly, Rt. Hon. Dr. Nelly Mutti, to attend the opening by President Hakainde Hichilema on Friday, October 9, 2026, at Parliament Buildings.
She says, in the spirit of consultative leadership and democracy, she has decided to seek the people’s views before honouring the invitation.
“As at now, my constituency is Zambia,” Katuta stated.

PF leaders seem to have one thing in common. They are out of touch with reality. Whatever goes on in their minds to reach where Musumali brings in the devil on a date created by a fellow man and now changed by another.
