HH  A MAN  OF ACTION, HE’LL CLEAN UP HEALTH SECTOR – MUCHIMA

HEALTH Minister Dr Elijah Muchima says President Hakainde Hichilema is a man of action who will ensure there is prudent health care in the country.

And Dr Muchima has insisted that action will be taken against erring officers who are creating artificial shortages of medicines in public hospitals Speaking during the launch of the National Multi-Pathogen Diagnostic Program (NMPDP), Wednesday, Dr Muchima said action at ZAMMSA would be taken against the officers involved in the 61 containers scandal. “I have been reminded to call for action.

I am told by the Permanent Secretary that we should talk and action added together. If you look at the actions of the President Hakainde Hichilema, he is full of nothing but action, recruitment…

  1. Pls do your work. After showing us you CV we realise that you qualifications mean nothing if not matched by performance. Over the weekend you wasted family time dragging officers to view institutions. Why could it not be done during normal work hours? What was the need and urgency of the visit? Ba Permanent Head Damage batu please stop the paroting of the President’s name. Work. What happened for the 61 containers to be in a private storage facility? What will you to bring confidence that pay for medication to the Zambian people and as leaders will stop the corrupt practices amd leakages? Stop the chatter….work.

  2. Hakainde’s Ministers ! Mr Minister you are the one now in charge of the nonsense in the Ministry of Health. Clean it up.
You are telling us that you have gone to that Ministry with a blank head, and now waiting for the President to do the work for you. Wherever these empty Heads come from , I really don’t know.
First impressions are very important, and this man doesn’t give any hope. even Panadol will completely disappear from the public hospitals with such hopelessness in charge…

    • @Mulenga & Hallucinating Hypocrite, I totally agree with your advice to the new minister of health. He should spend time working not showering the president with praises. He should leave that to low level cadres. He should be up and running to sort out the mess in that ministry. It is one of the tough ministries to run. There are no medicines and essential equipment in most hospitals. The laissez-faire attitudes of staff is another blot, most hospital superintendents are not in full control so the staff under them do as they please. Don’t be surprised to find a drunk nurse on duty. This may be an exaggeration but in Zambia you never ruled anything. Recently I visited one teaching hospital and l was shocked by its untidy surroundings. The minister must show us what he is made of not just waiting for the president to tell him what to do. Are the ministers and ministries being micro-managed by the president?

  3. man of action was mr Sata ,this is just ing’ombe illede (a slepping cow) we have already lost hope in him , he is failing to fix .
