HH DID NOT GO TO UAE TO BEG — STOP THIS LIE!

Authored by; Mupishi Jones

There is a lie trending this morning:

“HH has gone to beg in Dubai.”

My fellow Zambians, stop it.

President HH did not go to beg. He went to SELL Zambia.

And there is a big difference.

A beggar says: “Please help me, I am poor.”

A salesman says: “I have copper, I have land, I have water, I have sunshine for solar, I have Victoria Falls — let’s make profit together.”

That is what HH is doing in UAE today and tomorrow.

Acting Foreign Minister Situmbeko Musokotwane has confirmed — this is a working visit at the invitation of UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed. Not begging. Invitation.

Why UAE? Because UAE already owns 51% of Mopani through IRH. They are not joking — they are already in Zambia.

Now they want more — mining value addition, agriculture, energy, hotels, logistics, health.

And this is where opposition gets it wrong.

They think foreign trip = billions in cash landing at Lusaka Airport.

No.

Foreign trip = MoUs, CEPA trade agreement, Business Forum, and private investors who will come in December to look at hotels and farms.

Dubai does not donate. Dubai invests for profit.

Zambia does not beg. Zambia offers opportunity.

So when you see headline “HH secures $500M deal in Dubai” — don’t ask “where is the money?”

Ask: How many Zambian youths will be employed at that farm in Mkushi? How many local suppliers will feed that new hotel at Livingstone? How much copper will now be processed in Ndola instead of exported raw?

That is the real question.

Stop the narrative that President is a beggar. He is our Chief Marketing Officer.

Today he is in Abu Dhabi marketing Zambia. Tomorrow, it is our job to work hard and produce.

HH is not begging for Zambia. He is selling Zambia.

And Zambia is worth buying.
