Hichilema and ECL should meet insist RCZ
FORMER President Edgar Lungu should accept meeting with President Hakainde Hichilema once an olive branch is extended to him for the sake of peace and unity in the nation, Reformed Church in Zambia (RCZ) Synod moderator Ackson Banda has said.
In an interview, Reverend Banda urged Mr Lungu to wholeheartedly accept the church’s proposal to meet President Hichilema in public in order to quench the political tension in the country.
Rev Banda said Mr Lungu is the only former President that Zambia currently has and the country is expecting him to work with President Hichilema on various national matters.
It’s too late for Top Secret Meetings between Edgar Lungu and Hakainde Hichilema….the only meeting should be under the auspices of the Inter Party Dialogue with all the other political parties present..to discuss the shrinking democratic space, the public order act, the ban of Opposition Public Rallies, Hakainde’s Electoral Commission of Zambia, Elections monitoring, non interference in affairs of other political parties, Conduct of the Registrar of Societies regarding PF and UKA registration, the Conduct of the 3 arms of government and general governance, management of bye Elections, and the road map for the 2026 General Elections.
Former President Edgar Lungu is now an opposition leader, and associated with UKA..The time for Secret Meetings is gone. Where were you when ECL wasn’t in active politics, when Hakainde was treating him like trash, even allowing his Police to grind down his house gates???
So ba RCZ we know these are initiatives of the Mingalatoon…after seeing the successful UKA rally in Kitwe! The failure of the Hakainde – Miles Sampa – Robert Chabinga Project..and the rapid sinking of the Mingalatoon..

Rev Banda, what wisdom can HH get from Lungu please? The political tension is in your head and selected opposition political parties that have no following in this country. Concentrate on preaching Christs message of salvation for which you are presumably called.
It may be hard! The ECL supporters say it’s a trap.They even talk about food and drinks.They are suspicious that ECL may be harmed.And practically ECL believes his family and friends are being percecuted for cases of proceeds of crime.The wife to ECL is having a court case or cases running in courts and HH has no powers to stop cases that are in court other wise controversial people like Sishua will make deafening noise uncontrollably.
