In a statement issued on Thursday, 22 October 2026, State House said the appointments were made pursuant to Article 92(2)(e) and (f) of the Constitution of Zambia.

The reappointments maintain continuity in the President’s advisory team following his re-election in August, with key officials retaining responsibility for policy coordination, political affairs and the government’s economic programme.

State House Chief Communications Specialist Clayson Hamasaka said the President congratulated the appointees and wished them God’s blessings as they continued serving in their respective roles.
