Houthis Warn Turkey and Pakistan Against Joining Yemen War
The Houthi movement has warned Turkey and Pakistan that they would face a forceful response if either country intervenes in the Yemen conflict in support of Saudi Arabia.
The warning comes as fighting between the Houthis and Saudi Arabia reportedly intensifies, while Turkey and Pakistan are considering their positions and possible steps in response to the escalating conflict.
Mohammed Al-Bukhaiti, governor of Dhamar and a senior member of the Houthi political office, issued the warning during an interview with Iraqi television channel iNews.
«“I swear by God, if Turkey and Pakistan become involved in the war in support of Saudi Arabia’s aggression against Yemen, we will respond without mercy. The Houthis will teach both countries a lesson,” Al-Bukhaiti said.»
His remarks represent a direct warning to Ankara and Islamabad as regional tensions surrounding the Yemen conflict continue to escalate.
