My fellow citizens,
I always get concerned when I hear reports of political violence among our citizens.
We must always remember that whenever political violence occurs, there are no victors, only victims.
And the victims are usually people we know; people we live with in the community.
Over the years, we have been witnesses to what violence can do to a nation, but we have not been that nation. As President, I will not allow our great nation to go that path.
The peace and unity we have built over the years is too precious to be lost over the quest for political power. We must all be responsible citizens by upholding our peace.
I stand for peace, will you stand with me?
