Iran Claims Missile and Drone Strikes on U.S. Bases in Kuwait and UAE
Iranian Army says it launched missiles and attack drones against U.S. military facilities at Ahmed Al Jaber Air Base in Kuwait and Al Minhad Air Base in the United Arab Emirates.
According to the Iranian military, the strikes targeted satellite communications systems, equipment storage facilities and fighter aircraft hangars at Ahmed Al Jaber, while U.S. troop positions and radar systems were targeted at Al Minhad.
Iran claims the attacks caused damage to communications systems and fighter aircraft hangars at the Kuwaiti base and struck U.S. military positions and radar systems in the UAE.
The Iranian Army said the strikes were carried out as part of its latest retaliatory operations following recent U.S. attacks on Iran.
Kuwait has confirmed responding to Iranian missile and drone attacks with its air defenses. However, the extent of damage at the U.S. facilities claimed by Iran has not been independently verified.
