Iranians form human chains around their power plants in national show of defiance against Trump as he tells them “Surrender or fight” is their only choice!
As U.S. and Israeli strikes hit bridges and power plants inside and around Tehran, Iranians are physically shielding their infrastructure with human chains, especially in southern cities like Ahwaz, to protect facilities from further American attacks.
An Al Jazeera correspondent on the ground reports that the Iranian government is showing resilience, saying communications with the U.S. have effectively stalled because “the gaps are very big” and cannot be bridged under current conditions.
Iranians now feel they are being given a simple ultimatum from Trump: surrender or fight. Their response is not unexpected, but thrusts the situation into a no-win scenario.
This situation would not be upon us without the onset of Trump’s reckless, illegal war, which he started without Congress without an established goal beyond the dubious claim Iran was about to nuke use, and now escalated into its present horror.
Instead of bringing peace or stability to Iran, Trump has united Iranians against him and turned a contained situation into a dangerous, open-ended conflict.
