BREAKING: Iran’s men’s soccer team HUMILIATES Trump after he tried to THREATEN them away from attending the 2026 World Cup — says that “no one can exclude” them from the tournament.
Not even his illegal war on their wives and daughters can intimidate these brave athletes…
“The World Cup is a historic and international event and its governing body is FIFA — not any individual or country,” the team stated in an Instagram Story. “Iran’s national team, with strength and a series of decisive victories achieved by the brave sons of Iran, was among the first teams to qualify for this major tournament.
Certainly, no one can exclude Iran’s national team from the World Cup; the only country that could be excluded is on that merely carries the title of ‘host’ yet lacks the ability to provide security for the teams participating in this global event.”
The 2026 World Cup is slated to be held in the U.S., Canada, and Mexico starting June 11th. Iran is scheduled to play two matches in Los Angeles as well as one in Seattle.
Earlier today, Trump took to Truth Social to issue a statement that was interpreted by many as a veiled threat—
“The Iran National Soccer Team is welcome to The World Cup, but I really don’t believe it is appropriate that they be there, for their own life and safety. Thank you for your attention to this matter! President DONALD J. TRUMP” he wrote.
There is, of course, nothing inappropriate about the Iranian team showing up to compete in a competition in which they’ve worked hard to earn a spot. What is inappropriate is our demented pedophile of a president trying to scare them off as he wages an illegal war against their homeland on behalf of Israel.
The suggestion that there could be some kind of danger posed to the “life and safety” of the players is especially shameful. The American people bear no ill will towards the innocent people of Iran. Overwhelmingly, our nation does not support this murderous war of aggression. We welcome them to play here!
