IT WAS DISGRACEFUL THAT DUNAMIS CHRISTIAN CENTRE WAS USED AS A POLITICAL PLATFORM – BISHOP MAMBO

Chikondi Foundation President JOHN MAMBO says it is disgraceful that Dunamis Christian Centre was used as a political platform by former President EDGAR LUNGU.

Bishop MAMBO says the former President is experienced enough to understand that Zambia has a constitution which provides for a 5 year mandate.

He added that President HAKAINDE HICHILEMA has so far demonstrated good leadership skills in guiding the nation in the right direction.

And Bishop MAMBO stated that what happened last Sunday is an embarrassment to Pentecostal and Evangelical Churches.

This is contained in a statement to ZNBC news in Lusaka today.

  1. Bootlicker…Akulya chabe..
Ask your Hakainde to allow Political parties to be holding Public Rallies if you don’t want them to be using Churches…
So they can use any platform just like South African Freedom movements… Churches, Funerals, Weddings, Chilangamulilos, Kitchen Parties – it’s all systems go…. Unless ofcourse the Great Leader will also ban Funerals!

  2. Imwe ikaleni fye na mukota! Instead of fighting for your grand children you are talking nonsense! If you don’t want opposition to use Dunamis Christian centre for campaigns tell your Hichilema to stop using police to stop opposition from holding rallies. It’s as easy as that. Hichilema and Upnd know they can’t compete with opposition so they are in big fear of the opposition. But the more they block opposition from holding rallies the more the opposition becomes popular and Hichilema and Upnd become more and more unpopular! They are not doing any good to themselves! Rallies or rallies for opposition people of Zambia have already decided that Upnd must go! So this is a very poor strategy that Upnd is using! Just killing themselves even more.

  3. Churches are not for political ralies ok, you will end up deviding your people in your churches if you stop thinking in preference for looted money. Some of you the clergy are totally money lovers, you can even want to auction our country for looted money.”kasaka ka ndalama has disturbed your hypothalamus”such that you have lost your thought, no remorse at all.Someone can talk about evil things you you remain silent or you get carried away and start smiling. You are told he is a snake he is dangerous if you doubt him it is to your own peril. He is not looking at 2026 he may change government before that. Now you the clergy with your Bible in that church you stand at akimbo and say amen to nonsance surely.Someone wants to break the law in your full view, threatening violence and you are tickled surely. We shall end up stopping hearing your prayers because it appears you adore chaos.Let us learn from other countries where there was mayhem and are regretting.Trouble starts in a small way and ends big.Ending big means blood shed. You the clergy in that church must be neutral and correct wrong things, now you entertained satanic talk, snakes are related to evil or Satan.Love and peace is what is expected from church not hate speach you keep on entertaining.I think when I go into parliament I will propose some good laws in terms of correcting you clergy men so that you follow ethics which work well with religion.Weked men think a church is fertile for venting their lost glory and threatening innocent people.Shame.

  4. Ba Mandanda, what is the meeting being remembered for? The prayers or the political rhetoric? Is the fallout from the meeting God honouring? Let us not use God’s name to further our political objectives. God cannot be mocked. Yes, the church should speak out on social justice and the welfare of the poor.

Ir was wrong for the “church” to be used as a political forum under the guise of “praying for the nation”. The correct approach is what the New Heritage Party has done by insisting that they will have their rally in Mandevu with or without police permission.

The church premise should not be turned into a political battle ground.

  5. UKA and it’s snakes are lucky we live in days of grace.
Playing politics in God’s Sanctuary would have attracted intant fire and Brimstone from the heavens!
Those who desecrate the house of prayer don’t go unpunished!
The snake family will soon be convicted on their many cases before the courts.
UKA may not have a presidential candidate in their hope is in the violent snake!
