… please issue pastoral letter, Zambia is in disarray
Citizens First (CF) leader Harry Kalaba has demanded a pastoral from the Catholic Bishops because so many things have happened and the country is just in disarray.
In an interview with Daily Revelation yesterday, Kalaba said so many things had happened, citing the issue of late president Edgar Lungu’s body not being brought into the country to be buried among other issues.
He said there was also an issue of loading shedding now as ZESCO had announced that Zambians were now going to experience 19 hours of darkness daily, with the government further announcing the export of over

Kalaba, you are forcing the catholic bishops to see the disarray that is only in your mind. They have eyes also but they don’t have the same mind as yours.
Pastoral letters will not put you in office baba. Your programme for the country is disjointed, e.g. “I will give every youth land” (they will sell it), “I will terminate all electricity exports”, that is not enough Sir. “I will use our minerl resources …”, give me a convincing programme for me to vote you. University bursries, meal allownces, free education …. you are quiet on important things.
Kalaba the attention seeker who wants to be noticed all the time. Learn to be quiet Mr. Iphone 15.
If you’re a disaster and your party is in disarray, don’t think everyone is that way
Kalaba is now becoming a social media unrealistic bafoon and comedian. He should just go and persuade bushiri, to write him a pastoral letter.
The Zambia Catholic Council of Bishops indeed should have raised it’s voice over the status of governance in Zambia. The Misrule we see, State of the Legislature, Judiciary and Mr Hakainde Executive, the weakened institutions of governance..
Cadrelisation of the Electoral Commission of Zambia, the Registrar of Societies misdeeds, Human Rights Commission, and many others on which our Multi Party Democracy is anchored… Nearly all opposition party Leaders are facing charges in courts , and methodically finding themselves in Prison, it could be Sedition, Hate Speech, Aggravated Robbery, Tribal Wars …and one won’t be surprised to see this extended to Ms Dolika Banda or anyone who will pose a serious challenge to Hakainde.
Look at the Bills going to the Nellie Mutti ‘s Assembly, Bill 7 , Bill 13, Hate Speech Bill etc. For Bill 7, the constitutional Court has ruled it illegal, but Hakainde Hichilema and Nellie Mutti are determined to have it on the
Floor of Parliament.
Yes the Catholic church should have raised it’s voice..But sadly the council of Bishops is not united as before .There are moles in this organization. Whenever they try to prepare a Pastoral Letter , information is leaked to Mr Hakainde and he pre – empts this with an invitation to State house.
But we will see if the ZCCB will continue burying its head in the sand, as what is happening in Zambia can’t be ignored, especially by the Catholic Church which under past administrations has proved to be the last bastion against Misrule, Abuse and Dictatorship.
