RUMOURS THAT HE IS WANTED BY POLICE UNSETTLE KAMBWILI

LAWYERS for Chishimba Kambwili have written a letter to the Insepctor General of police demanding to know if the police wish to interview him.
Stories have been circulating since Sunday that police have been looking for Mr. Kambwili to question him over unknown matter.
However, his lawyers, Ferd Jere and Company, have advised the police that assertions that Mr. Kambwili was served with a police call-out were false and malicious.
The lawyers stated that there were reports that a police call-out was served at the Patriotic Front (PF) Secretariat in Lusaka or at an unown residence in Luanshya.
Dr. Kambwili has asserted that he has an established and known residences in Luanshya and Lusaka and wondered why the police would create a dramatic scenario like he was a fugitive from the law.
The lawyers have since encouraged police officers seeking to interview Mr. Kambwili to serve such a notice on his lawyers.
Police have however never mentioned of him being served with a call-out thus far.]
