KAMBWILI’S WIFE SHOCKS, DISAPPOINTS HRC
HUMAN Rights Commission spokesperson Mweelwa Muleya says he is shocked and disappointed with the remarks made by Chishimba Kambwili’s wife, Carol, that HRC is a scam.
Earlier this week, Muleya issued a statement to the effect that the HRC had visited Kambwili in prison and his health did not require him to be evacuated out of the prison medical facilities.
But in reaction, Carol, in an interview with Daily Revelation on Tuesday, said HRC was a scum that was being used to tell the nation lies about Kambwili’s health status.
And in response to Carol’s remarks yesterday, Muleya wondered how the convict’s wife could today say the HRC is a scam.

We get you Commissioner Muleya. The noise Carol and family have been making is not about Kambwili being sick requiring medical attention! It’s a PF way of using people holding constitution offices to get what they want. What Carol wants is Kambwili to be released by faking that he is critically sick. To her, PF and other opposition leaders people holding these constitutional offices mean nothing, apart from what they want. When Kambwili was busy running his mouth on radio stations across the country Carol’s didn’t have any wisdom to even try and think that the husband was talking nonsense. Today she’s in the forefront telling everyone what they must do.
These people from PF and their surrogates feel they should be given special treatment different from other Zambians.
One who commits a crime must pay for it. Just because Mwamba was assisted out does not mean you all must be freed on flimsy reasons.
