Kazadi, Halwindi and Muzandu Trial Resumes Tomorrow
The trial of film producer David Kazadi, social media influencer Mwaka Halwindi and Ruby Muzandu, who are facing charges related to the alleged production, possession and circulation of obscene material, is scheduled to resume tomorrow, October 13, 2026.
The matter was previously adjourned because Magistrate Kawama Mwamfuli was unavailable.
The magistrate was presiding over tribunal hearings relating to local government election petitions.
Kazadi and Halwindi had earlier pleaded not guilty to charges of producing, possessing and circulating obscene material, while Muzandu pleaded not guilty to charges of possessing and circulating obscene material.
