DR WAZA , ONE OF KK’s SONS, DIES
Dr Waza Kaunda, second born son of first republican president Dr Kenneth Kaunda has died aged 73, according to reports.
His death comes almost two years after his youngest brother, Kambarage and three years after his father.
A medical doctor by profession, Dr Waza Kaunda is said to have died at the University Teaching Hospital last evening.
Meanwhile, Zambia’s High Commissioner to Malawi Colonel Panji Kaunda says the family will communicate funeral arrangements for his late brother, Dr Waza, in due course once they had agreed on everything.
Col Panji said Dr Waza died in the University Teaching Hospital (UTH) last night after a long illness.
“He lived in Jesmondine and that’s where we are going to right now. We shall properly communicate the programme once we have agreed on matters,” said Col Panji.
