    LUNGU’S PF, A TERRORIST ORGANIZATION

It is said the manner in which something comes into existence is the same way it will sustain and equally the manner in which it will be extinguished or become extinct.

We are writing this piece in view of the sad reports from Mpulungu, Northern Province, that two precious lives of PF youths from Kasama were lost after they were allegedly ferried by former presidential affairs minister Freedom Sikazwe to attack local residents who support the UPND Alliance.

Clearly, the people who have been at the receiving end of the PF’s terrorism, are now defending themselves because the police that should have been doing that have been rendered moribund.

During a UPND Alliance press briefing at President Hakainde Hichilema’s residence in Lusaka on Saturday, Alliance chairperson Charles Milupi attributed PF’s culture of deadly violence to the party’s Sudan-trained militia and Mr Edgar Lungu’s ‘I-will-fall-on-you-like-tonne-of-bricks’ tendencies.

To this extent, there’s no malice by any rationale Zambian, who has experienced the state-sponsored violence that dominated the 10-year rule of the PF regime, if they categorize the Edgar Chagwa Lungu-led political outfit as a terrorist organization.

By the very fact that Lungu’s path to the presidency was paved by the spilling of blood by machete-wielding cadres at the Mulungushi Rock Authority, it would have been shocking if this man’s stint at State House was not a free-for-all violent affair, as we all are fully aware.

The sad thing is that Lungu and the PF’s violent streak has been extended to people who did not have anything to do with the spirited campaign within PF that Lungu should be president no matter how much blood was going to be spilled.

The Zambians, across the board have psychologically and physically suffered the brunt of PF state-sponsored terrorism. At the helm of this bloody crusade was Lungu, who without a shred of doubt was paying back the PF cadres who had paved his bloody path to State House in 2014.

This state-sponsored terror, sadly so, led to the death of hundreds of Zambians either through gassing, ritual murders, economic violence, and indeed extra-judicial killings at the hands of PF and state operatives.

Today, Lungu is sensing defeat on August 12, and his violence-driven sixth sense is getting into high gear. Instead of being apologetic, seeing that his key lieutenants and accomplices in this state-sponsored violent crusade have slithered away into their shells, Lungu is readying himself to violently deal with the majority of Zambians who have made it very clear that they are voting him out.

The key architect of this wave of violence that Lungu wants to use as his farewell to the Zambians, is none other than the Inspector General of Police Kakoma Kanganja. Kanganja for several months now has been hyping this election- related violence project.

If he’s not displaying the latest arsenal and crowd-control gear the Zambia Police have bought for the purposes of policing the 2021 general election, Kanganja would be at Sondela Police Paramilitary Training School, in the hills of Kafue, pysching police recruits to be physically fit and healthy for them to police the August 12 polls.

Is Lungu, together with Kanganja, about to declare war on the people of Zambia? The answer is a categorical, yes. The reason is that they know you the people cannot in your right senses vote for a leader and a political party who abandoned their duty of care towards you when it mattered most. Instead, they killed you.

Now, Lungu and Kanganja must know that the people of Zambia are ready to return that violence to the PF’s doorstep. They are redefining the rules of engagement come August 12 by voting for a leadership whose ascendancy to political office will be constructed on the basis of the people’s aspirations to see their welfare improve for the better.

On August 12, when the Zambians massively usher in the UPND Alliance leadership led by Hakainde Hichilema aka Bally and his running mate, Madam Mutale Nalumango, they will be unequivocally saying that never again shall they tolerate a leadership as violent as the PF regime. That never again shall they sit idly by and tolerate an unaccountable government. That they will pay back violence with violence, only that in the case of the Zambians, their retaliatory violence will be through the ballot and not through wielding machetes as is the case with the PF regime.

We reiterate, the manner in which something came into existence is the same way it will sustain itself and equally how it is extinguished or become extinct. PF Zwaa!
